Interpretive Disclosure
Please keep in mind that many of the scriptures from the Bible have been studied and interpreted in several different ways by countless numbers of people. Many of the same verses have multiple implications to both our wordly and spiritual lives. In none of my referencing of scripture do I imply that my interpretation of any verse is the only accurate one. Nevertheless, I do believe my interpretation of the scripture (as it relates to health and healing) to be one of the many truths garnered from studying it. Furthermore, there are many verses that are meant to be applied to both worldly and spiritual principles, especially when it comes to referencing terms such as “life” and “death”, to name a few. We know that we can use these terms to describe wordly states as well as spiritual states. For the purpose of this blog and its content, we will mostly be interpreting these terms in accordance with wordly states but, again, this is not to deny their interpretations in regards to spiritual guidance.
Also of note, that although my interpretation of scripture as it relates to health is, I believe, a message of truth in regards to being healthy and healing, I acknowledge that God has created many other people, ideas, and technologies that He can also use in conjunction with these principles as He sees fits. Subsequently, not every interpretation of scripture as it relates to health and healing can be attributed to every single bodily ailment, sickness, trauma, or experience. Ultimately, only God knows all the plans for our lives and why things happen to our bodies. Even though science is now just starting to observe some of what has always been written in God’s Word as it relates to health, science will never be God and we can never understand the intricacy of all the ways and workings by which God has created us.
